Privacy Policy

Scope

Sudslink LLC (“we”, “us”) builds and operates the internal operations platform used by ModWash car-wash locations, and operates ModWash’s text-messaging programs on ModWash’s behalf. This policy describes what information the platform and those programs process and how it is protected. The platform is a business tool: its users are ModWash employees, managers and support staff, and — for customer-care features — records of ModWash customers who contacted support.

Information we process

• Employee work data — name, role, work contact details (including a mobile number an employee chooses to enroll for text alerts), and operational activity such as work orders, checklists and incident reports.
• Customer support records — contact details and case history for ModWash customers who contacted customer care, used to resolve their requests, including a mobile number a customer chooses to enroll for case updates.
• Messaging consent records — for each enrolled number: the time, the program, and how consent was given (web form, verbal request, or a START/YES text), plus STOP requests.
• Device and technical data — logs and diagnostics from wash-site equipment the platform monitors.

How we use it

Solely to operate the platform and the messaging programs: routing work orders, alerting staff to site incidents, supporting customers, and keeping equipment running. We send text messages only as described in our SMS Messaging Terms: operational alerts to employees who enrolled, and one-to-one customer-care follow-ups to customers who enrolled — each confirmed by a YES reply before anything else is sent. No marketing or promotional texts are sent under either program.

Mobile information and messaging consent

Phone numbers and consent records are used only to deliver the operational and customer-care messages described in our SMS Messaging Terms. Enrollment is voluntary and is never a condition of purchase, service or employment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help.

Sharing

We share data only with ModWash (the business the platform serves) and with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting and telephony delivery), who process it solely on our instructions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with any third party for that third party’s marketing purposes.

Retention and security

Data is retained for as long as needed for platform operations and legitimate business records; messaging consent and opt-out records are retained so that a STOP is honored permanently. Data is protected with authenticated access, encrypted transport and role-based permissions.
